      SEX/AGE: Students are both male and female high school 14-18
ACCOMMODATION: Students would stay with parents of BHS students
     LOCATION: North Jersey about 7 miles North and West of the
               George Washington Bridge
   MAX GUESTS: from 10 to 20
   MAX LENGTH: about 2 weeks
     EXPENSES: Host families would provide most meals at both ends of
               the exchange. Transportation provided by hosts at
               each end the same as for own children. Major
               transportation (air fare, busses, etc) the
               responsibility of guest.
 EXPECTATIONS: It is expected that the visiting students become
               a part of the family for a short time and live
               the culture, attend some classes, share their
               culture with the students of BHS. Sightseeing
               in the NYC area is possible and encouraged.
               Specifics can be worked out through e-mail
    LANGUAGES: The school teaches Spanish, French, German, Italian and
               Latin. However we just did an exchange with a school
               from Austria and none of the students spoke any German.
               Proficiency levels are from 1 to 5 years of study in
               the languages mentioned above.
     THE HOST: I am looking for a class, or students from the same
               school, that would like to conduct an exchange program
               with my students for a short, about 2 week, period of
               time. The time here can be 2-3 weeks but the time
               there should not exceed 2 weeks. Bergenfield is
               a suburban community with about 25,000 population.
               It is close to NYC and frequent mass transport to the
               city is possible. Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and
               Boston are also within driving range. Our students
               have hosted students from Italy and Austria for short
               time periods during the last two school years. They
               are looking forward to doing the same next year.
